Level 3 – Got it all and still there is emptiness within you:
- Career/business is flying
- Your health is great
- Have a great relationship (self, partner, family).

“TO BECOME MORE YOU HAVE TO DO MORE”– :Frances Holmes
In this day and age, most people strive to get all the material possessions they can have as they think it will bring them happiness, and for a while it may!
Money will buy you all the material possessions you need to comfort you, BUT it will never comfort your soul. Your soul only sings with happiness if what you are doing is outside of yourself and you are helping others.
It may surprise you to know that helping people is actually the easiest way to get what you want, and that it takes a lot less time and effort than one might imagine.
The most difficult thing for people to understand is that when you help someone, you actually gain the most out of the experience.
A Chinese proverb goes something like this: “A giver is more fortunate than a receiver”. It is perfectly logical, because someone who is able to give must be in surplus, while someone who is in need of help is lacking something. Therefore, not only is giving a way of restoring balance in the world, you will find that by giving out positive energy and channeling it into your actions, you will receive in many ways.
For example, getting involved in volunteer work helps you to appreciate your own life much more by learning about the difficulties other people have to overcome. You never know, by helping others you may learn something new e.g. helping a friend with renovations might give you a hint or two about the best place to buy certain goods.
If you have ever helped someone and realised what an enjoyable experience it was, then you will understand what I mean. If you feel like you`re always giving and not receiving, then it`s because you`re either expecting too much from helping people, or that you`ve got pretty much everything you need (which you need to be grateful for).
Helping others is never about where to serve. If you are community minded, I suggest you look at joining one of these organisations:
Put in a link to all these organisations
and there are lots more organisations in your home town that would love to have you in their group. Have a look and see what local groups are in your area which will suit your personality and the gifts you have to offer them.
To give you an example, the passion of my life is to give the women and girls of the third world countries the opportunity to be educated so they too can change their communities and eventually the world.
There are 600 million women and girls in the world. If they can have access to education, there would be no more poverty in the world.
Micro-loans are the only way we can rescue our sisters in the third world countries. Women are the main recipients of micro-loans around the world as they are the bread winners of the family.
Kiva micro-loans are changing the world for our women and making them more independent. When you educate a woman she will educate her children and eventually her village, so let’s start with one.
Why must a young girl be sold into prostitution when all she wants to do is go to school so she has a better opportunity in life? Hagar international will rescue and rehabilitate young girls from prostitution and give them a second chance in life. They can’t do this alone. They need our help.
“I believe we were never meant to be created to serve ourselves only”: Frances Holmes
There are 26 million women and children in slavery in 2011. There are more slaves now than there was in the 19th century! We should be ashamed while we live our comfortable lives not to stand up for these children! Thank God Hagar does. We can help them. Log onto these websites to find out more.
These are only a few organisations that need our help.
To achieve total fulfillment we need to “do more”, so please consider getting involved.
Over the last few years I have managed with the help of a few friends to raise over $200,000 which has helped many organisations such as these around the world. Can you imagine how many lives have changed because I looked for total fulfillment in my life?
I am not telling you this to impress you, but to impress upon you to get involved with serving the greater good somehow.
It is a “win win” situation for everyone involved.
